This honestly feels weirder to me then the CODA nomination a few years ago.
Not that either of those films are bad, but in such an insanely good year, F1 does not fit the bill.
F1 being nominated for best picture is probably the most out there move this entire awards season.

Been reading Y: The Last Man and it is interesting because the book is pretty ahead in many ways politically, but still feels so 2003 in other ways.
First time writing this way, and I really like it. Balances how lazy I can be with rewrites when I'm not getting another set of eyes on it.
Started reworking this. First ten pages already looking much better.
First draft I hand wrote, so typing it up for the second I am very aware of what I am keeping and changing. If I typed it originally, knowing myself, I would have been less focused on my rewrites, just kind of skimming it.
