When you actually go read a broad array of feminist writing you'll realise that a not insignificant part of it is quite conservative. Look into the actual politics of various suffragettes for example.

this is always what gets me. arguing about whether dysphoria is "necessary" is not the POINT. the sentence is a rhetorical slight of hand for people with self doubt about if they're even ALLOWED to explore the possibility of joy. whatever you call the impulse driving that exploration is irrelevant!!

this is the heart of it. "you don't need dysphoria to be trans" is both axiomatic and a truism by virtue of the fact that framing transition around negativity is unhelpful when the joy of euphoria is far more notable.

I do think this was a fundamental design flaw with the game that I have not seen in many other similar games of similar calibre; especially one that so many people seem to have gotten stuck on.

It's not even necessarily impulsive shopping. The game doesn't exactly telegraph that time stops at 4am and you can't sleep on a bench if you mess up. It more telegraphs that there will be a thing you solve that gives you the money for a room.

There is a scrub way out of it but yeah otherwise you just gotta reload earlier unfortunately. I think that's the only one but it does seem like quite the oversight.
