Ah that’s where you started and stopped the layers. Linear advance will help but also you can improve this using the slicer software by better selecting the point that the layer shift happens. Usually you can tell it to pick a sharp corner as it hides it the best.

If you mean the edges being uneven then likely linear advance tuning will help.

These stringing could be a number of things from temperature, to retraction and more. I’d recommend doing some calibration following either of these guides (Ellis is my favourite of the two).

Depends on the design, how it attaches to the metal shaft & how it’s printed - I’ve designed hooks to hold charging cables in the boot of a car which weigh a good few KG.

Tldr; it could be sturdy & last for years or it could fall apart. Cleaning it could also be tricky depending on the layers.

Totally agreed! I print a few parts on Etsy and there are a number of similar shops to mine and the parts they use for their marketing photos I’d have been disappointed with the quality as a fast draft print never mind something I’d sell.

I use the hobby license which still exists.

You have a 10 active file limit but you don’t have a limit on the total files. You can easily archive and activate files.

Overall it’s a great intro into 3D modelling.
