Well, I bought the codes. Haha...

- I actually liked that the movie indirectly brings out a cameo by incorporating it as a plot device. If you're a fan of VOCALOID, you should know what I'm talking about. ;)

- Animations are great, it looked so polished and pretty.

- Of course, this is no Miku movie (and basically movies based on any media that has rhythm games) without songs. And this is where the movie excels on, it actually gave me chills listening to their soundtracks.

Summary of the movie:

- Plot is decent, but one would definitely get lost without knowing the main stories from its mobile game counterpart to understand the characters' backgrounds and world's building, obviously showing the movie's target audience.

I didn't even realize there's something wrong with the dates on the ticket stub until someone pointed out. LOL

Also, there was an earthquake while I was watching the movie! 😱 Thankfully nothing serious.

Well, the good news is that my local theaters do air the movie.

The bad news is that it has to be this weekend only or bust. 🥲

They do mention about the movie starting at May 9th later, but we'll see if it ever gets into my hometown later.

I think I might resort myself to buying the codes later. I'm seeing someone selling one for cheap.

For Indonesia, only Jakarta has the Fan Screening movie, and it's also very limited so far (only a single schedule: May 3rd at 2pm local time). No regular screening yet so far.

The location where they aired the Fan Screening movie is so far away from where I live. Getting there requires paying 10 times the amount of the Fan Screening ticket (it's the cost for round trip by plane). 😭

The game is just as glitchy as BanG Dream, seeing that they come from similar devs.

I mean... how am I supposed to let the game continue if something like this goes indefinitely? You can't simply D/C with minimizing the app for that, you really have to force-close it. 🤣

Unless you pay for the custom fees, they're only as good as WiFi-only phones. So my point still stands, except that they care enough to open a factory here as well. lol

Good to know about LP3, I was only setting examples when LP2 was their only latest device.

But my country uses IMEI whitelist system that prevents international phones from receiving mobile signals locally here.

I personally am looking for "digital detox" phones but without sacrificing some apps like WhatsApp. So dumbphones like The Light Phone and Nokia feature phones are no go for me.

SMS alone isn't suffice, especially going international. You could do so much more with Internet connections that mobile data and WiFi are much more common here compared to SMS or call plans.

Due to circumstances, I had to be away from my family across countries. Same goes to my younger brother. Hence we can only get ourselves together through apps. 🙃

I only do irls on FB, but even I hardly use FB as of late anyway as we shifting ourselves into WA lately. 🤣
