Thanks to Vince again, I also got the chance to interview @davidarobertson.bsky.social at St John’s College about his new book “52 Ways to Reconcile”. I ended up getting an extra copy for my aunt for Christmas and she’s considering suggesting it for her Rotary Club to study.

How lucky we are to have Indigenous authors like @davidarobertson.bsky.social and Bruce McIvor at the @writersfest.bc.ca. Led by @michellecyca.com they provided a thoughtful discussion about reconciliation both historically and in today's world. I recommend reading their books and learning more!

If you happen to attend @torontowots on Sunday -- I'm signing copies of PLAGUE THIEVES at the @cormorantbooks booth (B11) at 11am -- for those of you who enjoy #mgbooks.

However, I understand if you all go to see @davidrobertsonwriter (who has a panel at the exact same time/same day). If only we could all be in two places at once because I'd love to see/meet Mr. Robertson myself.🙂

In the foreground a blurry copy of “All the Little Monsters” by David A Robertson rests on a light wood cafe table. In focus in the background, a tiny brown sparrow meanders between the legs of occupied tables.

A little bit of outdoor chaos fluttering through a crowded coffee shop, perching on chairs and tables, feels like an oddly fitting intrusion into the final chapters of “All the Little Monsters,” @davidarobertson.bsky.social’s excellent memoir of mental health.
