My kid dimly remembered a Parks & Rec joke about a “porn version of Argo” and I cannot stop snickering about that.
Watched Argo with my teenager over the weekend and it’s still pretty great. Affleck ain’t a great actor but he’s a very good director. The movie also gives some context to US history with Iran that feels… relevant now. Definitely recommend.

Now more than ever I’m convinced losing Anthony Bourdain meant we lost probably the biggest person on tv who advocated for the wonders of meeting new people and calling anyone online who hated learning new cultures the children they were, ruthlessly to the camera.
