Stephen's idea of a variety of donuts is donuts with maple frosting and donuts with maple frosting and sprinkles. To be fair, I do like maple but you didn't get my favorite strawberry cream cheese donut or any apple fritters. People who don't eat donuts shouldn't buy donuts.

We got our stickers from the State of Illinois giving our ranking for last school year at work. They were still divided up by elementary school, even though, we are altogether now. My coach looked at me and said, I'm going to take this gold sticker and stick it on your forehead.

My little town is in the news today because ICE is here. It's also empty in the restaurants and stores and people are being terrorized outside the Walgreens. This is far from okay. This is fascism and hate that's just being accepted. Nothing is right here.

I read a sad book last year in class, and it brought about some great class discussion. Can’t wait to see what the kids think of this one. Traumatic events are important to discuss.

I think I'm going to ask Stephen to get me the Lego Gameboy set for Christmas. I don't put together a lot of Lego sets for myself, but this one is in a really good price range and I've read really awesome things about it. :)
