If I have to hear this woman behind me say “her cheese sauce is watery” for the 30th time I’m going to cry; it’s like a parrot that only knows one phrase.

The procedural aspect hurts instead of helps, it’s like the game Spore, so much of the life that you encountered was basically the same in the end, it makes the universe feel like they used copy paste with extra steps

Good.

The only good thing that came of this was having a ps4 allowed my to play ghost of Tsushima before it went to PC; which is one of my favorite games I’ve ever played.

Also if you never played starlancer or freelancer, you missed out.

If you never played tachyon the fringe? You missed Bruce Campbell as a lead character in a video game.

But the updates… nope they were not good.

I got a whole ass ps4 to play it, and it was and *continued to be* one of the most overhyped, not fun, POS games since the original Fable.

At least Fable was mildly amusing and kept a score of how many STIs you got.

And those are usually the best. But kind of like your book bindings, sometimes classic and old school methods that took a bit of effort, just because, has its value too.

Fwiw. I have an old cheaper Henkel set and a shun; they do the trick, but I “want” something new, usable, and pretty to gift myself.

Since there is so much trash out there that looks nice but performs shit, I was hoping for like “here is a rustic cool looking thing that is less than $200 bucks”

Debating calling off work.

Yesterday I developed a really bad shoulder pain that hurts if I lift my arm above my chest and keeps me from rotating the cuff completely. No idea how or why, and while desk job doesn’t ask me to move that, the dull throb is SUCH a distraction

I’m going to put a pause on this. I understand a lot of people think they know the assignment by telling me to just be cheap; but that’s not what I asked. And if you don’t have an actual brand suggestion that is “slightly higher quality” I don’t care cause it isn’t what I am trying to find.

It’s like with anything. Obsession isn’t the best but whatever, you do you, but when you are so tunnel vision about what you think matters to not understand others don’t; it’s kind of a perfect reflection to modern society.

Someone called the Super Bowl the biggest cultural phenomenon in the US besides Thanksgiving; aside from this being wrong (it’s how we handle Christmas by a long shot) I find it sad.

I appreciate people who are passionate about their hobby, but the lack of insight that not even the majority care.

How do you recycle a knife? I have never heard of such a thing.

I would like to get a pairing knife and utility knife of slightly higher quality. I have a larger Shun already, and while I like it, I wanted to know if anyone has any other recommendations from use experience.

Starfield felt very much a focus group desiccated “gritty” Fallout in space; minus the charm and a very confusing plot line.

It had okay bones but then was just ground into a massive pile of instant potatoes; unremarkable, boring, taking no risks, corporate slop

Even with my Bethesda-ism complaints, I love the full trajectory the series has gone, I only hope they keep that charm going when we ever get a new ES game

I like how the same general theme music in Morrowind is continued on in Oblivion and Skyrim.
