Great to be interviewed for #KarenCarney ‘s new documentary on women’s football, ‘The State of It’. Always living in hope that women’s football can move forward independently of the men’s game, in order to 1)keep its culture and 2)thrive according to its own hard won values.
Still, after 7 years of astoundingly biased comments and conversations, cannot believe how often (some) men presume their perspective is the only way of engaging with the world. Just mind-boggling to anyone without full privilege. As in film, so in football.
