It's worldbuilding day! Which means I get to dive into climate and economic models, but also that I have to deal with the existential distress of encountering all the government science websites that have had data redacted or are no longer being updated under this administration.
I must admit, I'm a little bit concerned about the number of experts I know who think this is a serious threat.

The State of Illinois is closely monitoring the federal deployments in the Village of Broadview.
Public safety is always my top priority, and the Illinois State Police remains in close communication with the Broadview Police Department to monitor and maintain public safety.
It's pretty wild to me that investigators have uncovered that anti-trans campaigns are largely funded by the fossil fuel industry, and that the presumed motivations are pretty directly to redirect the public conversation away from climate change... and that this isn't bigger news.
