I use ublock origin, cause it was the most reliable I found in the past, and it still proves to be. I'm also running Firefox instead of chrome-based browsers to even have it.

Gave it some extra filters to block shorts or Google AI stuff. Adding more every week recently

I love how vibrant and lively film looks. It's something even the most modern phone cameras can't capture. I suppose that's also what adds to the nostalgic feel

Luckily never fell into the trap of TikTok and other general social media. But YT, being my main source of entertainment at the time, eventually dragged me into their shorts corner.

Sometimes, ignorance is a blessing

I fell into that trap myself, noticed how it changed me in a negative way as you pointed out.
Eventually decided this is the end with anything shorts related, installed an app preventing me from using shorts, then removing them from my YT app.
It's going better now, hope some others wake up as well

Really impressed by phone cameras today.
My old phone, Pixel 6 Pro could barely take a shot of a moon.

When the moon was out again this day, I tried again with the Pixel 8 Pro.

I'm by no means a photographer, nor do I often use the camera, so both shots could potentially have been made better.
