Totally agree. For example, if the original statements were done on Wechat (China Mandarin-language audience) and the retraction on Fairchild (HK Cantonese-language) then the new message is not even reaching the people who heard the disinformation.

Why do Americans hate each other while Canadians love each other? Could it have something to do with our politics? With the sociopath in the Oval?

A Pew survey found that 53% of American adults describe the morality and ethics of our fellow citizens as “bad.” Meanwhile, in Canada, 92% say their fellow Canadians are good while just 7% say they’re bad.

Why are we Americans so down on our fellow citizens?

People walking through a plaza on a grey day. On the left is an installation of Lunar New Year lanterns about 10 feet tall all designed by local artists. Above, strings and stands of market lights glowing purple. City shops flank the street past the plaza

Robson Square on the weekend.

Remember when buses went through here? As a West Ender who would use the 5, I’m happy to have this plaza.

Get this: Vancouver is one of the top contemporary art-producing cities in the world—internationally famous—yet the Vancouver Art Gallery has an annual budget of about $17m vs.Toronto AGO's $76m, despite Toronto having significantly less international profile.

It's embarrassing.
