Typically, I do 2d game dev from scratch. I had some spare time, so I opened a RayLib3d project from before, and did some 3d programming. It's only a start, but rendering, panning and model loading with textures are working. The yellow rabbit is for my wife! 😍😘

Just fixed multiplayer coordinate scaling so panning + orders now work at all resolutions 🖥️💻 across desktop, laptop, and remote server optimised at 60fps.

Continuing my multiplayer dev journey: got complex group movement and combat working for infantry. Infantry units spread out correctly, following their paths, and engage enemies fluidly. Satisfying to see it all sync. #GameDev #gamedev #RTS #lockstep #sync #network

Lockstep sanity checks added—units correct only when standing, reducing net spam. Alignment verified with logs. Leaner correction packets save bandwidth. Sync is still in dev, but the multiplayer backbone is solidifying! 🎮🛠️

🎮 Got local multiplayer running! Clients + server now mirror actions using lockstep, staying in sync. Next: syncing x/y, speed, direction. Happy that the time sync challenge is solved. Deciding whether to rewrite server or keep moving. Soon: test online!
