I kinda thought being in outsource meant less of that, what with people not wanting to outsource something that may or may not happen, but it happens here too, and it often feels like companies just getting ahead of themselves. Which is sad because some of these projects look so cool!

OK, the more I look at it the more I actually like this, so made some tweaks and I do actually like it now

I still don't like the hair I made for this character so plugged in one I made a few months ago - super easy with metahuman base meshes! I don't think this is the right look, but it's closer to what I'm feeling. I'm now thinking a loose, messy bun

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Finally got around to making a lightsaber (hilt) and ended up texturing in Marmoset Toolbag 5. I've only dabbled in Marmoset texturing before but honestly, this was super straight forward and I especially love the vector layers. I'm sure I'm missing stuff, but I'm pretty happy with this, for now!

I worked with a guy who wouldn't go see a film if it had less than 80% on RT. I tried telling him that he should maybe form his own opinions and he said he liked using it as a guide. I mean, fair, I guess, but the cinema was £5 a ticket where we lived, you won't lose a fortune on a bad film
