I am a Ugandan, who was forced to leave because of my sexuality. Being LGBTQ+ in Uganda puts a person at serious risk, and for my safety, I had no choice but to flee. I sought asylum in Kenya, believing I would find safety, but unfortunately, the situation there also became unsafe for me.

I’m also queer and displaced, struggling to survive in a hostile refugee environment. If you're able to help me financially or share my story, it would mean so much.

It’s a deep shame that the world chooses to look away while queer refugees in East Africa suffer like our lives are disposable. But when even those we reach out to fall silent… it cuts even deeper.

I am a Ugandan who was forced to leave my home country because of my sexuality. I fled to Kenya to seek asylum, but the situation there also became dangerous. I had to move again and I am now in South Sudan, facing serious challenge and I am reaching out to ask for your help and attention.
