I’m currently learning to play guitar and my first song is “Never Fade Away” by Samurai (yes the cyberpunk band) and I’m already making so much progress!!!
I think that’s why I’m stuck with art, I don’t see the improvement at all.

Just makes it very hard to even WANT to get back.

I wanted to branch out with my art but when people I like a lot get shit thrown at them for expressing themselves, why should I even try if it’s likely going to happen to me too?
I hope I’ll be able to make art again soon without having these bad feelings attached to it.

At first I thought it’s because of the mental health issues and constant medication issues that made me lose interest but no, it’s the fandom that started my disinterest and killing my creativity.
Seeing how people treated my friends in this fandom for having the “wrong” ship made me struggle too.

I am going to be honest, I fell out of love with the Yakuza series.
I still care about my favourite characters but the games themselves don’t interest me anymore.
I tried to get back into it but they completely lost me with the Kagawa stuff.

GC wrote a great thread about the recasting of Hamazaki with Teruyuki Kagawa that I really suggest reading (along with the article from @unseenjapan.com) to get full context of RGG Studios deliberate decision to stand by this choice.

The lack of mainstream coverage of regular huge protests reminds me of a talk from a Twitter employees who explained that they had to drop BLM off the Trending Tags section because otherwise it would have been there permanently. The modern media environment has no appetite for sustained movements.

It just confirmed my worst fears.
It confirmed that despite growing apart, no one gives a fuck about me.

Why do people get progressively worse at wishing others a happy birthday?
I get it, I can’t remember either but I even posted it on my Instagram story but it only got two people to wish me a happy birthday.

I’m on 40mg vyvanse/elvanse and constantly spiralling.
My ADHD symptoms are amplified after taking it (stuck in my head, hard time starting things, worse impulsivity, bad RSD)…
Idk if it’s dosage related or the medication itself not working for me😭
