They had like 5 hit songs on their first album alone
The dream bus
New study: People who walk and bike to work in Seattle are the happiest commuters, and people who drive are the least happy. www.commuteseattle.com/2024survey/
Similar results have been found all over the world.
Let's create cities that allow people to be happy as they go about their lives. 🚶🏼🚴🏾♀️🧑🏼🦽🛴😄
Some other photos from the day! Highlight for me, as the hider, was watching the seekers leave the park after being about 15 feet from me because they forgot to check the other side of benches behind a tree! They cleared the lemon curse just to find out they were already there
Had a blast playing the home game of Jet Lag yesterday! If you’re in Seattle, the bike ramp at Northgate Station was purpose built as an Endless Tumble ramp! Thanks for this designing a great excuse to run around a city for ten hours @adamchase.bsky.social & @thewheatgerm.bsky.social
Spent the weekend in SF and enjoyed seeing the unique rolling stock of the F line: www.nycsubway.org/wiki/MUNI_F-.... Love seeing old cars still being used for an active transit line and not just heritage service!
Rev up those air fryers, because this week, @garlicthot.bsky.social and I are joined by special guest @shaddieshad.bsky.social to discuss the future 2025 album of the year winner: Mayhem!
After almost a four year hiatus, @garlicthot.bsky.social and I are officially back – to back to back – on our high horses of album discussion and will be back with new episodes every other Tuesday! Available wherever you enjoy your podcasts!
Couldn’t agree with this more; sold my car last year and haven’t looked back! So many benefits, least of which is somehow surprising your coworkers every time you beat them to happy hour by 15 minutes with a folding bike you can slide under the table
Such a cool experience to bike down Paseo de la Reforma during Paseo Dominical! This happens basically every Sunday from 8a-2p and it’s such an amazing way to get people on bikes and enjoying their city! Amazing how much nicer things are without cars, even if it’s only for a few hours
Yeah, it can feel slow, but I’m grateful we’re at least making gradual progress while so many other cities are standing still or moving backwards. I ended up selling my car last year because I wasn’t using it, and it’s faster and nicer to get around now by bike, bus, and light rail
For sure! That whole area around the cruise terminal is probably going to be an adventure even after the whole stretch is finished
Seattle! It has its flaws, but it’s way better than what we had before – nothing – and will be such an important connection for the city www.seattlebikeblog.com/2025/03/10/w...
Attended the ribbon cutting of the new stretch of the waterfront bike lane this past weekend, and while I wasn’t the first biker up the new super-protected bike ramp, I believe I was the first back down it!
