Dragon Quest XII still hasn't come out yet. I am open to the idea maybe of change, but it still doesn't change the old game soundtracks that were already were done.
As far as I know of Dragon Quest XII's music, the soundtrack is already done, and from my understanding it was still done by Sugiyama, the themes that are associated with Dragon Quest has a series or still being used.

To answer your question we should be cutting support for Dragon Quest because if we do that it makes people realize this is a brand that has too much trouble around it. If that makes sense. If it doesn't make money, the issue more or less, goes away.
I'm not sure Shueisha as anything to do with Dragon Quest. Bird Studio which is a completely different entity because that is Akira Toriyama's company which does benefit from Dragon Quest's success.
That part I do get, because currently right now she's still among the living, and is still in the current news, it doesn't help that the Harry Potter audio books, that I actively have to ignore, are coming out and they're doing a new series of the books.
As far as money is concerned, he wasn't a billionaire, but as they say actions speak louder than words. To me it's still kind of crazy, people downplay what he did, or actively ignore it, or just don't know about it in some cases.
He actively did the same thing in Japan when it came to LGBTQ and also would use his money to fund political groups that actively changed history in both Japan and the United States about the various war crimes Japan did or did not do during World War II.
That's a pretty old picture that's for sure I remember. Someone I knew back on Twitter did a recreation of this photo many years ago when Demon's Souls remake came out. I don't know if you could still find the picture.
And those are questions that we may never get the answer to if at all. And for me that's still kind of enough to not go into the series to this moment.
And until we can understand what is going on with the rights to the music, because I wouldn't put it past him to have some sort of trust fund, that would fund certain groups beyond the grave for him, delving into Dragon Quest I think is still too much of a moral question.
The issue with that that I have, is that he had the music rights to Dragon Quest until the very end of his life, which is why he got a credit on Dragon Quest from my understanding. And with the way how current copyright law works in Japan, his music, is still owned by his family.

I am reading your comments, Rhapsody. I have read, every single post you sent my way, and I've read them very carefully. The same people that dislike HP for that reason, are the same people that I'm talking about who play DQ in relation to that topic that I made before...
And that is the reason why I will keep talking about this. The whole point of making this, is you actively have to make those people understand, this is the way it works. Whether I get blocked or not I don't care.
Once again just to boil it down to its very basic core and simplicity here.
You can dislike and hate Harry Potter and its creator as much as you like, but if you do that you have to do the same thing with Dragon Quest for example because it does the exact same thing. End of story.
Affecting them more directly? Why because Harry Potter is a much more broader franchise than say Dragon Quest is and it's music? I very much disagree with that considering Dragon Quest is one of the biggest franchises in Japan.
As long as this issue continues to be I will continue fighting this.

And I'm also not surprised, at this point where we are in our world nothing really surprises me anymore. And it's for that reason why I continue to call these things out. We don't ignore them, we should be actively calling them out.
They're welcome to feel strongly about HP, I am actively okay with that, my issue is again is we're actively ignoring another person, and in some cases ignoring all the horrible things he did, once again funding political think tank groups & actively was against gay people lesbians & trans people.
I'm just kind of confused what we're talking about here because the point that I'm making here is that they're both the same type of people.
Sugiyama, actively funded political groups, to ignore Japanese war crimes, underminded sex slaves that Japan used, actively laughed at lesbians, gays and trans people dying, and with fund political think tanks, to have the rights removed or any medical rights they had.
I think you actively need to look at Kochi Sugiyama a lot more, because he's just as bad. "On that political issue exists, but not to the same extent." What are you talking about?
