I’m sure many of them were, but I have heard a lot of people talk about like Strixhaven or another early 2020s set being their first and it makes my bones hurt.

My son started playing around 2013 so I tend to think of that as when a newer player started.

I’m enjoying this “post your first commanders” trend. I’m always so surprised when I see well known creators that started playing in the last five years.

I tend to forget not everyone has been playing this card game for more than 30 years.

They’re still all built too, but none of them have been updated in a decade or so.

I was going to drive the the comic shop and today to pick up an order they’ve been holding for me for a weeks. I made it about two miles from the house before my body noped out of the trip into Seattle.
