At this point I just think you missed a big part of the whole conversation behind the thread because imo that was never the argument to begin with. Nobody is saying it's good, we're just saying a BEWARE feels kinda excessive just because a person was FRIEND with an artist who DREW gross stuff

Read my other reply so maybe you understand that my opinion comes from a different perspective all together, that you don't have to be "pro" this shit to realize that just because dude drew something you find disgusting it doesn't make it real. And as I ALREADY said, the issue is the reasoning.

I do get off to big guys crushing cities and people had the nerve to tell me it was murder lmao as if it was even possible out of fiction, like, this is the same argument, would I get turned on by someone bombing a city? Of course no, there's a HUGE difference between idealization and reality

I've seen people dragged to the ground for misunderstandings like these and I would like people to slow down and look at facts before jumping to conclusions, that's where I stand, plus my point was in response to to Rory's point about the difference between any scenario in fiction and irl in general

We're literally trying to say that maybe there nobody wants to fuck any of those, just because someone is friends with someone else who drew something along those lines, that says absolutely nothing about what their intentions are. If if turns out they did something then it's a different matter tho

If some of these people I frankly don't even know did something actually harmful then I'm all for calling out wrong behaviors, but you gotta realize there's a thin line between safety and bigotry, calling out people just because what they like in fiction gives you an iffy feeling? That's not safety

Sure you can be grossed out, not wanna interact with it and you don't have to understand their motives or enjoy it, but art isn't real life. There's a huge difference between them and there are even "tame" things that I do enjoy in art that I'd never enjoy irl, don't go witch-hunting bc of fiction

I think what Rory is trying to say there is that just because it's weird or gross, it doesn't say anything about the artist behind it. It's easy to mislabel everything off-putting as "the person behind this is problematic" but that's an oversimplification, it says nothing about their REAL behavior

I'm completely normal about this information. 💦💦💦💦

Macro/micro furry sketch. Draxos (an anthro male dragon) is posing in an extravagant way to a really tiny anonymous artist. The premise is that this artist wanted to practice figure in extreme angles, so Draxos shrank them down in order to do this. Draxos says "Capture my best angle and I might give you extra credit", implying that there might me something else happening after this session. The anon artist looks nervous.

You know what? I'm whipping this one out there as well. Oh, and this sketch, yeah... yeah, that too. *wink wink*
