We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful health service in Australia, the young eye specialist who examined me was thorough, patiently explained every detail & answered all of my questions.
From the triage nurses through to the post examination staff all were really kind, helpful & thoughtful.

It should be as long as I'm careful between now and the surgery.

Definitely not allowed to exert myself between now and Monday so the gym is totally out of the question. I'll be taking it very easy and not doing much of anything at all. Don't want that tear to get any bigger!

Update!
I'm back home in #MargaretRiver thanks to the cabcharge card from Bunbury hospital.

There is a small tear in the retina of my right eye that needs laser surgery which is not available until Monday morning back at Bunbury hospital. Following that all should be good!

Dayum! On Tuesday I started to see black lines marks (like a thin veil was over my right eye) and flashes out of the corner. Popped into OPSM this arvo and described these strange symptoms to them and now I'm sitting in the #Busselton hospital waiting room :/
