Idk, just had some thoughts on fiction and what it means to me and how I digest it. I'm a real glutton lol but there's a method to it, I can't just blindly eat. But dammit, I WILL eat

Then I slap that shit on some fake people and see what it looks like. Its probably a morbid curiosity. It also desensitizes me from the concept while building understanding, maybe even sometimes cultivating compassion. It's a safe way to just full on hate something too without worrying on nuance.

I like to cherry pick the things that want to take me down. I grind down the sharp parts, analyze the cracks, get a feel for it's elements, especially if there's something I do actually understand on a base level. I like to extract the flavor and disconnect it from what it used to be.

Shit goes wrong in real life. Shit goes really wrong. On a small scale, large scale, Starbucks grande scale, there are some terrible things that happen to people. You can't keep rawdogging chaos without it affecting you so I choose not to.

When I say I like problematic fiction people probably assume that I'm only referring in a sexual context and I absolutely do love that shit, don't get me wrong, but believe me that's really only the tip of the iceberg.
