Repetitive beats, Leyton Orient and the labour movement, mostly. Being from east London is 80% of my personality, sorry (they/them 🏳️‍⚧️)

I don't pay much attention to the Prem because Orient and League One is genuinely the most football I have the time for but can someone explain to me exactly why Wolves are *so* bad this season?

Like, I know that 90% of those that go up struggle but this feels very outlier bad. What's the reason?

This morning in the House of Commons, I raised the assault on Swale Borough Council that took place last night. The Speaker responded firmly: ‘Attacks on our democracy are unacceptable'.

Policy-wise, in terms of what they can affect, what are the differences?

Also, literal cabinet ministers have used the word in speeches over the last couple of years so the logic that referring to socialism publicly would preclude someone from selection just doesn't check out

It's almost by the by how often the word is used. The politics and the rhetoric are very similar indeed

imo the object of democratic socialism should be to set people free to live their lives with dignity and in that vein both the renters rights act becoming law and the announcement that the morning after pill will be free at pharmacies are unambiguously good things that will transform lives

There's currently a Bill going through the Tennessee Legislature to permit the display of the Ten Commandments in schools, which as I recall have something to say about this sort of thing

Please tell me where I can get a pint for a fiver because I've not seen one in the wild outside the working men's club for years

You can only have one category of carb for the rest of your life - potatoes, bread, rice or pasta/noodles

Please pick one and provide your reasoning because I'm sending myself mad with this

Gutted at The Gun on Well Street closing its doors. If a much-loved and always-busy pub can't survive, what pub can? The Plough on Homerton High Street closed last month, too 😮‍💨

Would always have said £10m until literally last month because I just wouldn't see the point in any greater level of unearned personal wealth but given the era we live in I'd probably take the billion and do something genuinely meaningful with it (less the £350k required to buy the rest of my flat)

Had the Terry's Café BLT this week and it was probably one of the best things I've eaten this year. Good bacon, excellent bread, tomatoes were decent, great mix of iceberg lettuce and bitter leaves. They just got everything right

I think Currie has improved across the season too, arguably now the best player we've had at left back since Lockwood
