It IS a bad print job from a 3D printer, but nobody's worked that out yet.

They have been coopted and rebranded under Kmart's Anko line here in Australia. My sister and niece were putting together the haunted house one the other day for Halloween. There's a lot of intricate details and CPU (clever parts use) in the newest sets. They look great 😀

They are pretty neat. These little sets have been around in one form or another for a while now (LOZ Mini was the main brand a while back) - designs and inspiration change every now and then. A few years ago they were popular shops; I have a (non copyright infringing) 7-Eleven which is pretty neat 😀

New pins acquired!

This is the Pokémon Legends Z-A Switch 2 pre-order bonus pin set, with Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile.

I was actually a bit disappointed to find these pins were a print attached to a metal back. Would have preferred an actual proper enamel pin design, but they are what they are.

WWE Crown Jewel Perth "I was there" pin. I was not there, but friends who were kindly grabbed this for me. It's pretty cool, with a nice jewel effect on it.

Wasn't really on screen, but WWE adopted the Quokka as a mascot for the event.

At long last, I have assembled Blokees Devastator! While the lack of thigh swivels and necessary leftover parts are a bit of a letdown, overall he looks absolutely fantastic and was quite fun to assemble! I also appreciate that he scales pretty nicely with GV/SV figures and matches their aesthetic.

And that's Defender wave 4! Lots of cool bots, colour, interesting details, and shiny surfaces!

Hopefully the next build won't be so late (Galaxy wave 8 is already late - it's stuck in customs 😂)

Speaking of deep cuts, here's Shattered Glass Megatron!

Just when you thought they were done with Defender Megatron, here's one more run at it, and it's stunning - painted details break up the white plastic surfaces and the extra armaments are very welcome. Love it.

We know there'll be an alternate configuration for Brawl as a Bruticus limb that things plug into, but hang on ... What's that extra port on top of Wheeljack for? 🤔

Brawl is up next.

By now we know the deal - collect the vehicles, purchase the combiner accessory parts. They did show Bruticus this weekend, looks cool!

Brawl is armed to the teeth, not surprising for a tank but he does lack actual moving wheels. Can't win em all.

For some reason he has a Transformers brand logo on his spoiler 🤷‍♂️

You can also pop the hood, but there's not much detail visible inside as it's just plain white plastic. Nice ability though.

Which then begs the question ... where is Scourge's trademark "beard"? He's got a little more than a soul patch.

Odd choice! Does it play into the idea that Defenders are mini / younger versions of the bots? Is this "Transformers Babies"?

Who cares, they're still great fun ☺️

By now it's obvious someone at Blokees is a proper TF fan. The number of deep cuts into the lore they have done in just over a year is high!

I say this because Scourge gets a rare thing in Blokees - a custom hand design with his outstretched fingers.

The... weapon? thing? fits that hand too. 🤷‍♂️

Scourge is up next and wow, he's impressive.

I've got a bit to say about it actually!

Somehow, Shockwave returned. This time around he is 100% less glittery. Actually maybe 95% (the gun hand).

Still a fun build though, this version looks way more cartoon accurate with its colours. And I still can't believe there's actually a rubber hose/pipe/etc included in a build of this scale.

Hound is up next! He's transparent because [reasons 🤷‍♂️].

Looks the goods though, very poseable as usual, and the moveable shoulder cannon is appreciated!

Rodimus' vehicle mode is up first. Not a complex build, but I love that the trailer opens up for the weapon platform. It can be manned by another bot of course.

With Blokees Wheels coming soon, I wonder what that will mean for the vehicle modes in Defender class.
