Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

As we honor those who lost loved ones, we also pay tribute to the first responders who rushed to help others 24 years ago.

We must remain steadfast to save as many innocent lives as possible by keeping guns out of the hands of dangerous people.

Political violence is NEVER acceptable.

We denounce the deranged person who shot Charlie Kirk as strongly as we denounce Republicans in Tallahassee who are cheering for open carry and a tax holiday that will put more guns in our schools and communities.
