I’ve got that ‘Star Wars 2015’ feeling again!
TODAY IS NEW TRAILER DAY #MandalorianAndGrogu
Dear #StarWars fans, for what it’s worth I have had two interactions with Dave Filoni. Both times he’s been gracious with his time and “eager” to know my thoughts on the IPs future, and both times I reiterated “I’m already invested” and turned his👂 to my son because that’s their future.
Right?!🙃
When we fixate on our expectations we lose sight and appreciation of the present moment or the thing we’re looking forward to.
Sometimes we forget the real value of the element of surprise.
My mom would’ve loved this! 🦈
That’s what I mean by “understandable.” However, our own expectations ruin the joy by attaching said “joy” to unmet “shoulds”and “woulds” that end up overshadowing the actual experience and leaving us disappointed.
I understand the concern about #TheMandalorianAndGrogu, but “it” was a 30-second commercial NOT a trailer for the flagship of Disney+ (CA cornerstone of the Star Wars IP with a massive viewership)
When we fixate on our expectations we lose sight and appreciation of the present moment.
I’ll take it!
