I've been gaining a bit of a belly lately and I like it! I looked in the mirror today and, maybe for the first time ever, felt "okay" and perhaps even "cute" about my stomach's appearance. After too many years of body dysphoria and disordered eating, could this be what healing feels like??

Considering starting Star Trek: TNG for the first time, as I search desperately for any sense of hope or optimism amidst the dystopian nightmare that is daily life in the US.

Finding a binder of Pokemon cards from childhood, complete with homemade fairy-type cards. Jigglypuff has been the favorite from day 1!

While playing Rifftrax recently, my roommate chose his nickname to be "Marcia B". Since then, I've been imagining what it could possibly look like for Marcia B to have a menty b. Maybe Davy Jones was overlooked at the Grammy's?

Klaudia, our villainess, pedaling on an exercise bike in her most incredible pink workout tights and leg warmers. She is reaching for a ringing phone while smoking a cigarette in the other....while pedaling. Next to her is Sophie, the dog, with her own miniature treadmill and Sophie-sized workout gear.

Klaus, the other half of our villainous duo, is sun bathing in his own (giant) tanning bed in the same home gym as Klaudia and Sophie. Klaudia is talking on the phone through the glass in the door behind Klaus.

Klaus, Klaudia, and Sophie are lounging on rafts in their pool. Klaudia is reading a book, sipping a martini and getting shade from the awning that's somehow attached to her raft. Klaus is drinking a bloody mary on his raft, while reflecting the sun back at him. Sophie is over the interruptions and just wants to continue lounging on her tiny, Sophie-sized raft, complete with her own puppy martini (a dog bone dipped in milk maybe?)

Best dog Sophie is awakened at 5am and is NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT, as she tries to roll over in her chic puppy-sized bed.
