So I made these cute little DIY Easter egg decorations and it got me thinking, should I do a DIY coloring journal?? I’m thinking a natural wood cover with a design on engraved it that you can color yourself. Should I try it??

I love the color combo 😍
I only do white books by special request because they’re extra tricky to keep clean. My process has improved so that I can make a white book cover with more confidence, but it still takes a little extra work. So if you’ve ever wondered why white is not one of my regular color options, now you know!
The lighting makes this book look like a dark blue, but it’s actually the prettiest color shift.

I started Dating & Dragons this weekend. It’s a cute, fun read.
There’s a learning curve and it can be extremely expensive, but it’s definitely doable on a budget! I second DAS on YouTube. Look up case bound book tutorials or ones on binding fan fic.
Did you know I punch holes in every single page of a journal by hand before sewing them all together? Assuming I’m not adding any embellishments to a notebook cover, folding all the pages and punching the holes is the longest part of the bookmaking process for me.
