We’re releasing a four-song EP of material that we might have played out once in Maine or my hometown or something, but really - our core fans in Port Chester never heard these tracks. It’ll be available via the usual places (Apple Music, Spotify etc?) on March 25th! Stay tuned for more info.
From 1994-1999 or so, The Dart Swingers recorded a bunch of music, but we never did anything with it - until now!

I notice I’ve been crying every day. But sometimes it’s because I heard some music or read something, so I guess that makes it better?

It seems though, that we got through a lot of material, as evidenced by the photos. Apparently I was ready for book 3! I need book 1 now I suspect.
Anyway, Basil was an amazing person and I really miss him - died of multiple myeloma in 2008. I still have his prized guitar - a Gibson ES-335.
Only, I forgot how far along we got. I found my old guitar lesson books and there is a lot of note-making, both his and mine. I vaguely remember that I would spend half a lesson being a spoiled brat probably and not practice nearly enough as I should have.
Way back in the day - a good portion of the mid-late 90s - my stepdad was generous enough to give me guitar lessons. He was jazz trained and played in country western cover bands in the area and was VERY talented. I was very lucky to receive his tutelage.
