The war against the grey continues with some Sector Imperialis ruins for 40k. Nothing special, but I also finished the terrain from the 3rd edition boxset. Those are among my first models and it's nice to have them painted after 27 years.

They could very well be. I didn't purchase the updated kit and its sometimes difficult to discern details on the webstore sprue, but the bases/stands strike me as slightly different.

A minor point, but some of the rereleased Beastmen have been altered to have a different number of components. For instance previously, the Cockatrice had 7 and is now 10, Ghorros had 7 is now 8, the Jabber had 19 and is now 26, and the Doombull had 12 and is now 13. #warhammercommunity

Indeed. the Old World price points are very competitive. That adjustment is actually interesting when you compare the prices from those kits that were discontinued and subsequently rereleased. Normally, prices simply go up.

Plenty of products have transitioned from WFB to AoS before being rereleased for Old World. The Beastman Chieftan 'might' be the only product to be released for AoS before transitioning to Old World. There are a few other options, but they have inherent challenges.

I’m immediately starting work on my Genestealer Cults as my next project. I’m also adding the purestrain Genestealers from my Tyranids for a total of 221 models. That will put me well into positive territory for 2025 and push my total painted over 2500.

With Kragnos finished my current collection of Kruleboyz is complete at 125 models and ~4200 points. Within my collection the Kruleboyz stand at 24th on both metrics. #warhammercommunity
