I got that all on stock, generally I'm very light when using any of the tools.

I'll have to try it more I'm just confused as I've never had this happen before

I just tried it and it feels like . . . I really don't understand how it works. Sometimes the paint comes out nice and easy, sometimes it feels like I gotta press harder than I like.

Sorry for the lack of new art recently. There's been a lot of life stress but also I've been working hard on some art stuff on the side trying to hone my stuff and get some things done.

Oh my goodness. My friend helped me get out of a weird creative hole I was in.

I couldn't, for the life of me, draw Sonic characters in my style and reliably like the result.

He said something so simple, so basic, so PLAINLY in my face that I feel stupid but I think it worked great.

It's sadly how it goes with reboots, you wind up dividing the audience between the core fanbase that might have grown up with it and then the folks who like the reboot.

It becomes impossible to satiate both- unless you wind up DOING both.

Metroid is KIND of doing that.

Either performance or space is my guess. Some games did use mono like FZero on N64. Anything to squeeze everything out of the hardware or storage.
