The usual criticism of Pascal is that he’s too passive. Stands off. No chance of that tonight - he was up, early and dominant. Drove forward loads, always in space in possession. Not perfect with every pass but an excellent game for me.

This is a minor point, but why does di caprio have a Brazilian flag?

He’s managed to strangle Gibbs-White and Anderson. Two of the most exciting midfielders in England. Gibbs-White didn’t look happy being hooked either…not great for morale when one of your best is sat chuntering.

Hmm…I have been known to dig Pascal out in the past, yes he made two sloppy passes but thought he dominated tonight. Superb in the air all night.

They were really getting fired up by one of the coaches - shouting ‘more’, increasing the tempo of the sprints. I’m sure others do this…but the difference between the two groups was noticeable.

I was stood watching at halftime and I’m not sure if this really means anything, but the Forest subs were arsing around, flicks, laughs…our subs were doing full shuttles and an intense rondo. Seems the culture is spot on through the squad.

Well, that’s weird.

Augustin was an incredible signing. Outscored Mbappe 2 years earlier. For a 2nd division side to get him with his talent/ceiling was insane…obviously it went very, very wrong but the ambition was superb.

This was my beef the other week - they were at the Man U game…supposed to be a horrible, nasty atmosphere and you’ve got the jazz lads busting some house classics out.
