When people say we need to reach out to those who voted for Trump I say no way and this is exactly why. They lost their humanity.

One of them a transgender man who is a school teacher will be forced to resign from his job. This law will affect thousands of Texans, from students to employees.

Today Gov. Abbott signed SB 8 into law.
This would restrict which restrooms transgender people can use in government buildings and schools and fines institutions up to $125,000 for violations affecting not only students but also employee.
The law will go into effect on December 4th.
Hate won.

I was there! Fortunately we arrived early and we secured a good spot near the stage. The venue was at capacity and many were left outside including some friends!

We had long lines for Beto in 2018 when he run against Cruz. Beto run an amazing campaign and was very close to win. I hope @teamtalaricohq.bsky.social will invest in field organizers and ground work. Having Kendall Scudder as Texas democratic Party chair can make a difference.

I live in Denton County and was
there too. But it was definitely not
my first political rally! I loved the energy and I hope Talarico will put together a strong team of field
organizers.

Great event tonight in Dallas with James Talarico! It was a full house with many outside who could not get in. Next time he will need a bigger venue. I told him to speak about science and the need to protect it. He said good suggestion!
