I play trading card games, it's a dangerous slope, but it is possible to remain competitive while respecting the ADHD.

It can be super useful for improving at the game but short term memory issues and the like mean it can be a bit frustrating from time to time.

#GamingWithADHD is wild, sometimes... The thrill of installing the game, making sure all the drivers are updated, snacks are in hand, is the most gaming that happens in a session from time to time.

I love when I play games but getting myself into a zone when I can fruitfully is uncommon 😅

Wicked was fantastic, the longer runtime was very warranted and handled well.
The only criticism I have is that I would have liked if Defying Gravity was less segmented with action and dialogue. Otherwise it was spectacular and visually otherworldly. 💚

I feel like the biggest game that almost defines #GamingWithADHD is none other than Minecraft by Mojang.
Minecraft, while infamous, is a building/crafting and exploration game with no end(except The End) of things to do, lots of organising and tons of variation.

I'm a big musicals nerd and I am super super looking forward to seeing #Wicked this weekend. I've been hearing nothing but positive press.

When it comes to adaptions of stage musicals I think there is a general understanding that things need to be somewhat different due to the medium.

Excellent point! I still have not managed to give Xenoblade 2 the time of day, but it's absolutely on my list. I own it so I've no blockers except my List of Games to Play ™️ 😂 I do think these sorts of mechanics can be good and rewarding in many ways. Thanks for the recommendation 🙂

Genshin absolutely got it's claws in me when it first launched. It's core gameplay loop is so good that it just begs "one more pull". I'd love a full single player experience with no gacha mechanics in the style of genshin. They totally knew what they were doing 😅
