Nazar is doing pretty well, especially since he's the youngest player of the bunch

Dach is starting to gain steam (hopefully he stays healthy)

It's crazy that McDavid and Celebrini are tied for first in scoring

Most generational talents win the Hart by 19 and Celebrini is certainly in the conversation right now

Agreed, he's a fun player and personality, but he's been close to unplayable.

Unfortunately their potential replacements are uninspiring

Right now we're seeing some organizational turmoil in NYI, VAN, and SEA, so maybe something will shake loose there.

FLA may decide to keep Bennett and if that happens, Lundell is a little more available

BUF, ANA, and UTA all want to be in the playoffs next year, maybe that's an opportunity

I agree that very few of these players scream "available C for a decent price".

Like most trades it's gonna come down to finding an opportunity, that isn't fully apparent at the moment

The 1st Monahan trade was the product of a very specific moment in free agency where CGY needed cap space

the NHL average coaching tenure was down to 2.51 years across 32 teams *before* Cronin, Laviolette, and now Bylsma were fired. Now it's down to 2.38, which is even further below the other three major professional men's leagues.

He played with a very obvious injury (I believe to his glove arm) behind one of the worst teams in history back in 21-22 because they had nobody else

And this isn't the case of a tandem goalie having an excellent 40 games. Sam played the 3rd most games, he's a full blown 2010s era starter!

He's not a perfect player but I still think his work in o-zone could be something special
