a #corner of torment
coupled with age, and hope
withering on the side
like a plate of bread
branded with tears,
dumped into a corner with
rags of discarded desires;
we drench our memories with wine
The time I have spent as the #vss365 host has been precious, indeed. It's hard to believe I have only a couple of days to go. Time to put a good, utilitarian word into the mix, one that can be used as a noun or a verb. The #prompt for Friday, March 13, is #corner.
That's an excellent fashion rule to live by. I will have to reconsider my wardrobe.

While things are lovely here at #vss365, I'm still waiting for harmony in my home. Blending cat households after caring for my father has proved to be a challenge. Still, I love my newest kitty and all her quirks. In her honor, the March 11 #prompt is #bonny.
