I was particularly enamored w/ a design identity for Kylo Ren that I called the "final boss:" he would discard upgrades early in the game, then when the game was at its climax he would enter play with all those upgrades & you had to defeat Kylo to win. He turned out better than I imagined! #FFGStaff

The vision for the Force mechanic in this set was that it would be trait-based on the common default bases, but that the rare bases would offer opt-in non-trait variants. We iterated on them a LOT to try to find options that wouldn't be too easy to attain but would also be fun to build for #FFGStaff

As a player, I’ll play almost anything. I love all kinds of games, from cozy rules-light to narrative mysteries to tactical combat.

I'm not above begging!

Because if the owl path is the only path, I'll assemble that team. I'm going to make this happen. But I'd rather learn from someone who knows what they're doing than learn by repeatedly failing loudly and publicly.

Starting a short stint of putting this out into the world: I've been consistently making long-form mediocre video content for almost two years.

How do I get on a #TTRPG AP? Is there any path to manifesting that wish that's less than "draw the rest of the owl"?

We always wanted Cal to be an exhaust leader, since his signature power is Force Slow. But finding ways to do that fairly was difficult—even our "prevent a unit from readying" version felt oppressive. It seemed like a pretty big nerf to allow the opponent to pick, but every exhaust matters #FFGStaff
