Unsurprisingly for folk that know me, I was incredibly excited when my housemate mentioned in passing that there was a swarm of bees out on the fence in front of the house and I spent a solid hour just excitedly giggling and watching them hang out while waiting for a beekeeper
A friend reached out and asked if I would join their dnd game when it restarts in Feb and we've been talking about the character creation as they have a specific class/sub class in mind for story reasons and I felt like drawing her. So this is Carahuli Maniad, paladin and occassional fiddle player

Decided to watch the new nosferatu because I'm a sucker for the og without really looking into the production and after a couple minutes I was like "damn this period horrors cinematography is giving big vvitch/the lighthouse vibes" looked it up and of course it's the same dude, fucking Eggers, man
Had a mostly lovely weekend interstate for my brothers wedding and got to see the family for the first time since 2018 and also since starting transitioning. Only got accidentally dead named by a couple and deliberately dead named by one, so I consider that a win
Unsurprisingly Superman is very good. Couple pacing issues, but it is the most inspiring and hope filled supes has been in a long while and it's so refreshing to have a superhero movie not dripping in quips. Can't wait to see how the rest of the dc movies turn out
and I don't know it just left a bad taste in my mouth after such an uplifting game. gonna make me replay through wandersong again to get that little fantasy of helping people and communities coming together to save the world
Was really enjoying Kulebra and the lost souls up until the ending. it was a really cute game about helping people move on from trauma and how kindness can help lift others up ... but the ending makes a point to say helping others will just wear you down and sometimes it's not worth fighting for
Stopped watching one piece at episode 36 a whiiile ago and figured I might as well continue. Sure hope nothing super emotional happens in episode 37

Went to donate blood today with the pseudo-boyfriend and he talked me into donating plasma instead, got part way through the the machine said no and I was just over the amount to still be able to donate blood instead. So I guess no blood donation for me for3 months
Finally managed to get a standalone 4k bluray player and picked up some new movies I'd been meaning to grab for a while
It was very cool to watch happen and especially in front of laqitas dad as well
