Annie walks to the Statue of Tillium and kneels before it in the water. She is shivering as she says "L-lord Tillium"

Annie prays to the Statue, text reads, "Lord Tillium, God of Safeguarding and Protector of all under your wings, please continue to watch over Galport. Please protect us from the Fog of Death, the Godless Deprived, and all that wish us harm. Please let all that hibernate wake again come spring. Amen. And when, um, when Silver of Galport leaves to find her Ambition, please continue to watch over her. Can-may you take her under your wing and protect her from all that wishes her harm. Annie wakes up from a nightmare and screams, then calms herself down. The text says "3 months earlier."

A multi panel comic of a satyr named Annie going about her day in winter. It is snowing and she is reluctantly getting ready.

Annie sits before an altar that has a small smoking offering and prays. She says “Everlasting Growth, thank you for letting my crops prosper. Thank you for letting them prosper in spite of cold and disease. Please keep them safe under the shade of your great antlers. Amen.” The fire goes out.

She checks on a hibernating Silver, and puts two fingers to Silver's neck to check her pulse. It is slowly beating, while her own is fast. She leaves.
