I see it differently. I'm mid 40s & my entire life Republicans have been dedicated to demolishing the status quo to do deregulation & racism & they used every chance, including 9/11 to do it. It's Democrats who have been dedicated to pacifying resistance & maintaining whatever new status quo Rs set.
