He changed his name to Muhammad Ali on March 6th 1964 so when he fought Liston in 1965 he was already over a year being Muhammad Ali. But are you saying he still used Clay in some situations?

Got to visit the #muhammadali statue in Maine yesterday but disappointed to s see that they used the name Clay when he had changed it prior to this fight!
