Mythal ALSO falls along this spectrum and was also a spirit that made a body and in doing so, corrupted herself. We do not give her the same grace as we would Solas and this is coming from me, someone who is very anti Mythal agfkjasgfdg both of them are incredibly complex characters and-

this is why DAV is a dumbed down game because you mfs cant handle nuance or morally grey characters. Cant recognize that Solas falls along this spectrum and have to woobify him or see him as completely evil. You dont love his character any less if you see that he can make some pretty awful choices.

like a lot of the idk fun in loving Solas is realizing that he is capable of making some pretty awful choices, while being capable of soul crushing love. And Lavellan accepts this all and loves him all with the good and bad like...... yall.....please lmao

bad choices on his own. Was killing Felassan not bad, killing Varric, giving his orb to Corypheus? Solas doesn't even excuse his own actions and takes responsibility like a grown man should sagksakjgsg. I promise you, you can love this character and not baby him 24/7
