There may be some free parking available on Dean Keeton, and paid parking should be available in the Speedway Garage, one block north.

Drinks and snacks will be available. Outside food and drinks are allowed.

The star party will take place at the football field by the restroom/picnic table pavilion in the NW corner of the park by parking lot B.
The workshop is held at Area 51.2 (White Mountain Foods, 3301 E 5th st.) Parking is available in front of the building on 5th Street, or behind the building in the fenced lot through the gate on Allen Street. Follow the AAS signs to the side door facing Allen Street.

Jim Choate will be holding an Intro to Astronomy Session after 6 PM, answering questions and providing direction for anybody that shows up needing help getting into astronomy as a beginner.
The Radio Astronomy Special Interest Group (SIG) is focused not on optical astronomy but rather radio astronomy. Many, if not most of the phenomenon that happen in the cosmos emit signals outside of the optical band. Participants of any level are welcome!
