my husband is a fully capable, competent adult. he has always been on board with equal-partner-parenthood even when he was the working parent. i don't know why i can't just say "do the back to school shopping" and let it go. why do i need to send him lists and notes? i don't!! why am i like this!!!!

since i'm now a full-time employee, full-time student, and full-time parent, i honest to god think i'm going to die of a stress-induced heart attack because i do not know how to delegate things.

this is an irrelevant, non-issue question for me (spouse is the stay-at-home parent), but it's bullshit to ask it. tell me you want me to prioritize this job over my children without telling me.

i'm sorry but i do not get good vibes from your company if one of the ONLY questions you ask me in an interview is "what is your plan for emergency childcare, like if your child is sick"

me, literally today: 2 back-to-back interviews that want me to come in for in-person interviews, a scheduled phone screening for a 3rd job, and a scheduled virtual interview for a 4th job. 💀

68. This is also 5 stars. Maybe I should feel shame, but alas, I do not. This is what I wanted Morning Glory Milking Farm to feel like when I saw it described as "cozy and sweet". THIS book is actually cozy lolol. Lyonne Riley girlie 4 lyfe now.
