It’s really disgusting that the @dfl.org has weaponized blackness in a way that allows for nutters like Vetaw and Warren here to hold political power, while they fight tooth and nail against Robin Wonsley and Ilhan Omar.

Alas Minneapolis does not. That power is reserved for Saint Paul and nearly all of our suburbs. We're stuck hoping the charter commission one day brings us into line with the rest of the metro.

Jacob Frey and his corporate PAC donors spent $103 per vote to put Pearll Warren in office.

$159k in PAC money + $93k in campaign money for 2,437 final round votes so they could get their rubber stamp to defend the Laken Riley Act.

The damage from ICE’s occupation will be felt for years. Families torn apart, children traumatized, livelihoods destroyed. Minneapolis must invest in an equitable recovery for all our residents.

That started today with City Council voting 11-2 to fund $7 million for small business recovery.

But we’re not fooled. “Pause Evictions, Save Lives” is up next to give residents more time to connect with rental assistance before facing eviction. Tell your Council Member to vote "yes"!

We’re still seeing ICE going in and out of the Whipple building. As long as they’re still here working to separate families, we need to make sure people are out patrolling & keeping watch.

We don’t accept their behavior happening here or anywhere else which is why all of DHS needs to be dismantled

Grateful for leaders like @elliottpayne.org who is doing the work in City Hall while also protecting neighbors on the front lines.

He obviously has significantly less power than Walz, Klobuchar, and Smith, but he’s done more to keep people safe than those three combined.

Great to have the West St. Paul City Council join Minneapolis, St. Paul and Roseville in calling for an eviction moratorium so no family is forced to choose between making rent and risking being kidnapped by ICE.

Governor Walz is choosing not to stop evictions for our neighbors in hiding from ICE.

When I prep people for media interviews I always tell them to record the interview both to have a record to correct misquotes and so they can re-listen to their answers with the team to improve for the next interview.

I’m on the scene at Franklin and 1st. A convoy of about a couple dozen ICE/HSI agents broke the entryway into an apartment building at 6am. No warrant presented. Less than 24 hours ago, Tom Homan announced the end of large convoys in Minnesota… Bullshit.

Not enough. Every single ICE and CBP agent should be out of Minnesota. The terror campaign must stop.
