Had lunch yesterday in this 17th C pub not knowing that it was where amazing David Bowie had his wedding reception after marrying Angie nearby at Bromley registry office. I should've known as used to live nearby in Dulwich- Beckenham and Bromley were frequent haunts in my youth. Great surprise.⚡⚡⚡

I have a chair I picked up for 6 quid in a flea market that is perfect for my bathroom. After many years use it's seat committed suicide so after much sanding, staining, varnishing and weaving I restored it and it's now back in my bathroom. It feels very loved.

Born on this day in 1940 my tribute that I sketched a couple of years ago to the absolute brilliant actor that was John Hurt.
His portrayal of the wrongly accused Timothy Evan's who swung for the crimes of John Christie in 10 Rillington Place was one of my favourites of his roles.

Not really talking about extremes it seems to me the names above that I mentioned have their fingers in every sovereign pie and as unelected entities it's an abuse of their wealth.

Please let me make this clear Testy. My concern is purely for the victims of the organised and systemic crimes against young girls, some as young as 11. Some killed. Mostly ignored by the authorities. This is abhorrent. Wicked. The first duty of govt is to protect. Especially kids.

At least Musk has made this public knowledge , whether or not you like him or approve of him,the topic of this abuse is now wide open.
As I said I don't care for him one way or the other but I do applaud him for opening up the conversation.

It has been going on for about 2 or 3 decades . Authorities,police and social workers have all covered it up because of the ethnicity of the perpetrators.
Targets were working class white girls , not necessarily disadvantaged in all cases and does that matter?!

Also according to polls The Labour government's ratings have dropped like a stone. Starmer has done more harm to the UK than any other PM in my living memory. Musk isn't the only one who wants Starmer to resign. Indeed a petition for this received over 3 million signatures.

It was debated in parliament on Wednesday as to whether there should be a national inquiry. It is perhaps the biggest scandal in British politics. Starmer ensured the three line whip to force his MPs to vote against an inquiry. There has been a huge cover up of this for decades. It breaks my heart.

My concern is not for Musk but for the girls abused and enormity of the cover up by the British government .

Thank you. Twitter is exploding , rightfully so with the scandal of the child rapes by Pakistani grooming gangs in the UK and the huge cover up by authorities in the name of multiculturalism protection. It is a disgrace for the UK and my heart bleeds for the little girls & families affected..
