I care about this because: -The wording is vague and do not do anything to effectively protect children -The bill would infringe upon constitutional, legal expression made by consenting adults -This bill would be used to censor speech and criminalize people under the guise of "obscenity", especially by the current Trump Administration -it would push people and communities underground, making them more vulnerable to abuse -[anything else you can think of]

Just FYI, administrative warrants (like the ones used by ICE) are not judicial warrants (used by cops, signed by a judge).

You do NOT legally have to open the door for an ICE officer with an administrative warrant *no matter what the ICE officer says.*

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need to justify your reading preferences and choices to anyone. Audiobooks count as reading. Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?

Also: If you don't have money to buy my (or anyone's) books, and you live in the anglosphere, before you pirate them, try to get them from your local library instead. They have it or can get it, they pay for the books, and in many places writers get paid for their books being lent. Everyone wins!

Audiobooks definitely count as reading (as well as listening). If you've played through an audioook, its perfectly fine to describe that as "I have read [x]"

All other forms of assistive software count as reading too 💙📚
