Today I'm so honored to earn the endorsement of @drichardsqns.bsky.social, who fights for the world's borough every day.

We recently rode the Q4 in Jamaica, one of the five bus lines made free in our fare free bus pilot. Ridership jumped 30%, and everyone's commute got a little bit easier.

Governor Hochul Announces Interborough Express Advancing from Planning to Active Phase Governor Hochul announced that the engineering and design phase of the Interborough Express (IBX) has commenced, the next step in the development of the transformative transit project.

Here's the press release:

19 new stations with connections to 17 subway lines and a runtime of 32 minutes across 14 miles. This truly is a game-changer. No word on estimated completion date. We are probably looking at 2032ish.

For Eric Adams, the law is simply a suggestion—especially when it comes to funding his campaigns.

Thankfully Donald Trump can't bail him out of this one.

Bernie and Zohran laughing. Bernie and Zohran smiling.

Bernie may be the great Senator from Vermont but he’s Brooklyn through and through.

An absolute honor to meet with one of my heroes and the champion for working people across our country, Bernie Sanders.

After mismanaging the MTA for 10+ years as Governor, Andrew Cuomo would now like to mismanage it as Mayor.

Happening now: protesters are outside the Fine Arts Building on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago this evening.

People are in line to see House of Reps Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for an event tonight promoting his recently released book.

Crowd chanting at them, "we don't need a book tour!"

We had a great version of this discussion for an hour with @atgenevieve.bsky.social and a solid conclusion at the end - the answer is not individual feelings-based interventions!

Democrats will often look at something that doesn’t poll well and think “oh no, better move away from that!” but they’re getting their role backwards. parties influence public opinion. if you’re purely reactive, you’re just letting the GOP frame every debate.

New Yorkers with children under six are leaving at double the rate of all others.

The investment we make in universal, no cost childcare will make this city stronger, healthier and more prosperous for all.

Really wonder why Elon felt so compelled to buy the White House—other than driving more federal contracts to himself and his billionaire buddies.

Could there have been another catalyst for him and Bezos to do what they did? 🧐

one of the most persistent myths in punditry is that you can pull a coherent rationale out of the american voter. swing voters are, by and large, doing a surface level assessment of their current situation and giving a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul should stand up to Trump, not collaborate.

✅create programs
✅pass laws
✅set regulations

Do what her constituents need, not fear the Fox News crowd.
