Congress must leverage its budget negotiations to make clear that the cruelty and lawlessness we have seen is unacceptable, and it must end now.

Veterans from every corner of the country came to DC this week to send one unified message to Congress: no troops on our streets.
Service members signed up to defend the Constitution, not to police their neighbors.

After making him suffer in an El Salvador torture prison, the Trump administration will stop at nothing to deport Kilmar Γbrego GarcΓa. They're trying to take him from his family and home to a country he has zero connection to, a punishment for fighting for his rights.
This is unjust and cruel.

ICE has no power to turn them away without reason.

It could prevent around 59M utility shutoffs.

The budget for ICE (not including all other parts of DHS) is now $55B.

How much for the housing crisis? The entire proposed FY26 HUD budget is $38B.
