chuuli, who was subjected to sexual grooming as a child, and who did actually suffer explicitly coercive behaviour at the hands of avi has no business being compared to a socially maladroit adult who undermines her own agency by claiming to have the mental faculties of a child

if someone is aware that they have difficulty articulating boundaries around sexual topics, it is deeply irresponsible to publicly declare a sexual fetish and invite private messages concerning it

and pairing it with commentary that her discomfort was obvious, is at best indicative of a narrative shaped within the closed scope of her own emotional recollection, and at worst, an intentional misrepresentation

i also believe those conversations may have felt violating because of that history, and thus potentially retraumatising. none of this constitutes actual victimhood from that person. presenting screenshots that do not show any boundary-setting

claiming shared victimhood while making demonstrably incorrect allegations of sexual harassment does risk collateral harm to the credibility of that victim's claims. i do believe deed experienced discomfort and felt unable to assert boundaries as a consequence of prior trauma

and i feel there is a strong argument to be made that this ''accusation'' risks diluting public perception of avi's behaviour

but in lieu of any explicit denouncement of the conversations, this does not constitute sexual harassment. and it is certainly not comparable to chuuli's situation with avi. deed, as an adult, made an active choice to declare their sexual interests and engage others in conversation about them

because the manner in which she felt is not dispositive of the reality of what occurred. deed was not subject to sexual harassment; she may have experienced discomfort and struggled to assert that due to prior incidents
